If you are a high performing golfer with the potential to become a scratch player and currently have a handicap of 18 or under, are aged under 20 years old and reside in the municipalities of Wyndham, Brimbank or Hobsons Bay, then you may qualify to become a cadet and receive a bursary with the Young Achievers Foundation.

A bursary can be used to fund your golf related expenditure, which includes, but not limited to the following

Competition entrance fees

Travel costs to competitions

Golf equipment

Golf coaching and training

Golfing attire

In addition to the bursary, as a Cadet of the Young Achievers Foundation, you will be provided with a Young Achievers membership card which will enable you to access preferential prices and discounts at a variety of outlets in the Western Suburbs.

You will have access to free group training and coaching sessions, preferential rates at elite training camps and support to create your own brand through social media. Every year we will run a ‘Graeme Glasson’ Tour competition for our Cadets, the trophy awarded is in recognition of the founder of the Young Achievers Foundation.
The winner of the tour is the Cadet who has amassed the most points over 6 rounds of the tour throughout the year, the winner will receive some amazing sponsor provided prizes, a trophy and will be an automatic acceptance as a Cadet for a further year (if you are still under 20 years old).

Becoming a Cadet of the Young Achievers Foundation is for the ‘best of the best’ and if you believe this is you and you meet our terms & conditions, we welcome your application for consideration. Should you not be successful in this process, we will automatically register you as an Associate Cadet.
